Xのキーイベントを拾う xev

xmodmapなんかでキーマップを変える時にどのキーを押すとどのコードが発行されるか確認する必要がある。

そんな時に使うのが、「xev」コマンド。

実行するとウィンドが立ち上がるので、そのウィンドをアクティブにしておいてキーやマウス入力すると標準出力にコードが表示される。

結構便利

マイクロソフト レーザー マウス Arc Mouseのスライド上タッチ、下タッチのイベント。
