Kindle DXg firmware アップデート 2.5.5 → 2.5.7

Kindle DXgのファームウェアがマイナーアップされているのでアップデートしてみる。

自分のDXｇはJailBreak&フォントハックしているので、アップデートするためにいったんこれを解除する。

■フォントハックの解除
update_fonts_3.5.N_dxg_uninstall.bin
をKindleにコピーして home -> menu -> settings -> menu -> update your kindle

■JailBreakの解除
update_jailbreak_dxg_uninstall.bin
をKindleにコピーして home -> menu -> settings -> menu -> update your kindle

これで解除完了。この手順はすぐに終わる。


■次にアップデート
Update_kindle_2.5.7_B009.bin
をKindleにコピーして home -> menu -> settings -> menu -> update your kindle

5分くらい待つと完了。


うーん、とくに目立った変化はないように感じる。
わざわざJailBreak解除してまでやる意味は無いかも？
